Bring a taste of the Loire Valley to your table with this delightful
Green Toile Pattern Porcelain Pitcher!
Originating in France in the 1800’s, toile is a decorating pattern traditionally used on cloth or wallpaper, but is also seen on porcelain and clothing, and experienced a resurgence in popularity in the last decade! Most often these designs are seen in black, dark red, or blue. Green and magenta toile patterns are less common.
This toile motif ceramic pitcher has a rich, glossy glaze, pattern detailing on the handle and feet, and is decorated with a pastoral scene!
Footed carafe measures 7 ½ inches high, 5 inches wide, and 7 ¼ inches deep.
